HAPPY TO BE ME.
There os no one else to be.

What else could, should or would like to be,

How dare to think that I could be other!

I am here to be but also to be a man and think.
I do not mean imagine; I mean reflect.
The sun could not be higher,
There are no shadows.
Verticality is God and it is my duty to reflect It.
Feet on earth, eyes in infinity,
I start to reflect for the benefit of all.
But it is not compulsory. It is free...

AWARE OF THE PAST,
Thinking beyond the present,
Living the moment.

PERFORMING GOOD DEEDS
At every opportunity.
Making it a habit.

WHENEVER DISAPPOINTED,
Accept it with grace.
Nothing else to do.

I BOUGHT INTO LOVE
With all my worth.
There's no better investment.

SOME ZEALOUS PEOPLE
Can be carried away,
Transporting themselves.

TO CARE FOR ANOTHER,
Requires taking care of one's self,
For one's well being.

GIVING OF ONE'S SELF,
Increses not decreases
Inner resources.

RETURN TO NATURE,
Allow yourself to serve,
Refresh the spirit.

STRADDLING BOTH WORLDS,
Immanent and trascendent,
Is a high-wire act.

MISAPPLIED KINDNESS
Eventually leads to
Later suffering.

STRENGTHENING THE WEAVE.
See it grow more resilient
For weathering life.

AN ARGUMENTATIVE MIND
Is the greatest obstacle
To peace of mind.

SPIRITUAL LONGINGS LEFT UNFED,
Will not rise like unleavened bread.
Become lifeless like a dried up river bed.

DOWN MEMORY LANE.
Sorrows, joys, along the way.
Not to linger long.

SHORT ON CONFIDENCE.
Seeking outside approval.
Never sufficient.

LEARNING TO FEEL LOVE
Is relatively simple
But requires practice.

CARING AND GIVING.
Mother - an icon for love
All over the world.

HAVING LEARNED THE WORDS
'Caring' 'Compassion' 'Sharing',
We need employ them.

SELF EXAMINATION
Does not require a license,
Just a willingness.

OVER INDULGING
Satisfies only ego.
Nothing else worthwhile.

GREATEST IRONY,
Seeking love on the outside.
Truly found within.

LIVING IN ONE'S TIME,
There are no repeats, returns.
Each moment is it.

THERE IS NO ESCAPE
From the personal challenge
To live joyfully.

HIGH MORAL VALUES
Are not sufficient.
To be God fearing as well.

GROUNDED IN A FOG,
My spirits are not dampened,
Knowing it will clear.

MANY OBSTACLES
Can be overcome
By sheer determination.

TO SAY ONE KNOWS ALL
Is foolish and foolhardy.
It's self deception.

HUMAN ACHIEVEMENT
Expressed in so many ways.
Not to be compared.

WHEN ONE IS RIGID,
It is not a sign of strength,
But the opposite.

FEELING ONE'S SUPERIOR,
Befits no one,
Even if it is so.

CERTAIN MENTAL TENDENCES
Need be recognized,
To be kept in check.

PRESSURE FROM WITHIN
Can be infinitely worse
Than outer pressure.

BEING COMPULSIVE
Is not a positive trait
Even if benign.

BUILDING FORTRESSES
To maintain fixed positions,
Defeats oneself.

LIVING JOYOUSLY
Is an inner state,
Achieved by being truthful.

MAN'S COEXISTENCE
Begins with peaceful feelings,
Love and compassion.

LET GO OF THE PAST.
Tomorrow cannot be known.
This moment is sure.

CULTIVATE THE MIND.
At all times loving and giving.
Harvest contentment.

HOLDING ON TO LOVE,
As one's life depends on it.
In a way it does.

A PERSON'S LIMITATIONS
Are not be compared.
The same for his strengths.

REASON BY ITSELF
Can be seductive.
Lead one to gross transgressions.

SELF EXAMINING.
For self evaluation.
For self improvement.

PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD.
See your profits grow
Beyond your fondest wishes...

EVER INCREASING,
All non-taxable,
Lasting an eternity.

EXPANDING VISTAS
Continue to greet
One on an inner journey.

SHOWING VANITY
Reflects on one's self image.
Not as intended.

HELPING EACH OTHER
Distinguishes man
From all other animals.

Needing outside approval
Is an addiction,
Never satisfied.

MATERIAL ATTACHMENTS.
Is like being stuck in glue
One cannot see through.

NUGGETS OF WISDOM
Can be discovered
Best by observing wise men.

IN THE PUSUIT OF THE TRUTH.
No half-way measures,
A full commitment.

FIGHTING VIOLENCE
Will be an oxymoron
For a man of peace.

CONTENT WITH ONE'S LOT,
Not envying another's,
Reflects one's wisdom.

INEXPERIENCE.
Diminishes over time,
With experience.
