CRYPTIC MESSAGES
Come forth over and over.
Man is not in charge.

Reflection, recollection, meditation.
The day is over.
What had to be done was done.
I was only the instrument.

Time to consider, ponder, contemplate.
Time to grow, not to disperse.

Can continue on in man,
Ad infinitum.

LINING UP ONE'S PRIORITIES
When one is mature,
Turns on one's values...

DERIVED FROM EXPERIENCE
When they are ordered,
Inner peace follows.

HINDSIGHT TO EXPLAIN,
Foresight to forewarn,
Each for present advantage.

SENSE THE SAMENESS OF PEOPLE.
Be everyone.
Be yourself as well.

NEVER FORGETTING,
All is one, one is all,
Despite appearance.

THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS
Is without meaning
To one filled with joy.

DEATH ARRIVED AND BROUGHT ITS GIFTS.
End of suffering...
Loving memories.

GRATEFUL FOR WELLNESS,
Knowing how precious life is,
Giving tanks to God.

LOVE, GOODNESS, KINDNESS.
Common denominators.
Indivisible.

WHEN YOU ARE AWAY,
Loneliness sets in.
Emptiness is what I feel...

NOTHING I CAN DO
Except, accept YOUR absence
As my way of life.

THE LONGING FOR GOD
Is unsatiable,
Except by the Grace of God.

SAGES OF THE PAST
Have left wisdom for all men.
No greater treasure.

THE NATURE OF LIFE
The ultimate mystery.
Literally so.

CULTIVATE THE MIND,
Let only beauty flourish,
Weed out harmful thoughts.

REAL VALUES IN LIFE
Are spiritual treasures,
Not easily found.

HAVING A MENTOR
Is essential for learning,
Whatever it is.

INNER REFINING.
Trying for it consciously.
Unending process.

BEING ECLECTIC
One is not stuck with dogma
Encrusted by time.

EXTENDING ONE'S SELF
To help another,
Exposes one's humanness.

SELFLESS GIVING TO OTHERS
Is a Divine gift
More precious than gold.

ONE'S BEST EFFORT TO SUCCEED,
Is more important
Than the end result.

HUMAN HANDICAPS,
Visible, invisible.
Love equalizes.

MAN'S MORALITY,
Understood in many ways.
There must be a Source.

GIVING OF ONE'S LOVE.
Nothing else adds as much worth
To one's own self worth.

ACCEPTING ONE'S FATE,
While striving to affect it.
Human irony.

HOPING AGAINST HOPE
Is always applicable
For a man of faith.

NOT KNOWING WHAT TO PRAY FOR.
I pray for knowing
For what to pray for.

RESPECT FOR ELDERS
Is most appreciated
When one is older.

RECOGNIZE YOUR OWN GOODNESS
For the good it brings
To others and you.

GATHERING KNOWLEDGE,
Assimilating wisdom
As one goes along.

FEELING SORRY FOR ONE'S SELF
Is a state of mind
At war with itself.

A GOOD LIFE CAN BE MEASURED
By accomplishments
And reputation.

OBSERVING ONE'S THOUGHTS
As they come and go,
Is the gateway to freedom.

WHEN REACHING OUT TO OTHERS
To love and be loved,
Man is at his best.

GAINING MORE KNOWLEDGE
Just for knowledge sake
Is surely not wise.

Is only fiction
For a person of faith.

IN THE HUMAN COMEDY
Laughting at one's self
Brings comic relief.

BEHAVING BADLY
First needs to be recognized
Then acted upon.

ENHANCING ONE'S SELF ESTEEM
Cannot be achieved
By wishful thinking.

VERBAL BARRIERS
Confront newcomers
To the spiritual world.

IF ONE VENTURES FORTH,
Clarity will come about,
Followed by rewards.

NATURE'S OFFERING
Are so abundant
Only if recognized.

STICKING TO ONE'S LAST
Not deviating
Will create lasting results.

DOING A RETREAT
For solitude and silence.
Not to run away.

WHERE THERE IS GOSSIP
Three people suffer
Gossiper, listener, subject.

WHATEVER THE CAUSE
Reducing anxiety
Will lengthen one's life.

UPLIFTING THE WORLD
Halting the decline,
Wisdom, goodwill and action.

RECITING PRAYERS
Formulated by others,
Helps in times of awe.

SPIRITUAL PEOPLE
Are ever humbly grateful
To have been so blessed.
