WHEN MAN IS SILENT
THE SOUNDS OF NATURE
ARE HEARD LOUD AND CLEAR
|
THE NATURAL WORLD
Is mostly not seen or heard
Even a glimpse thrills
|
AS THE DAWN LIGHT SPREADS
Sits on scattered clouds
Waiting to descend to earth
|
EARLY MORNING CLOUDS MARKINGS
Spell I have a choice
The park or the beach
|
A PAIR OF BLUE BIRDS
Swinging on a bough
Having a heart to heart squawk
|
A FRESHLY MOWED FIELD
Creates a refreshment stand
For the passerby
|
ANNOUNCING ITSELF
By its aroma
The lilac beckons one near
|
ALONG THE WAYSIDE
Dandelions in profusion
Escaping the scythe
|
THE FURIOUS WIND
Drives the frantic ocean
Onto a forlorn beach
|
SENSING A DOWNPOUR
The sea calms itself
Awaiting replenishment
|
RESISTING GOING TO SLEEP
The sun casts its rays
On high cirrus clouds
|
SLIPPING BEHIND TREES
The sun sneaks off for the night
Returns at daybreak
